We start in Staufenberg-Sichelnstein at the castle ruins. The path leads us over fields and small forest paths to the barefoot path near Nienhagen, a narrow path with stations with different natural floor coverings. Through the picturesque Ingelheim Valley, we pass Benterode, through the Ruhwald back to Sichelnstein.

We start from the forest car park above Staufenberg-Escherode, right next to the entrance to the arboretum.
