Almost directly from Gelsenkirchen main station to ArenaAufSchalke. The tour leads through the city garden, the idyllic settlement at Grawenhof, to the Nordsternpark, which was created for BuGa in 1997 and will be a venue for the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) in 2027.

From the northern center of the city in Buer, the path leads past Berge Castle and the FC Schalke 04 club grounds.

After an idyllic stretch along the Rhine-Herne Canal, the tour ends in Nordsternpark, which will be one of the hosts of the International Gaurten Exhibition (IGA) in 2027.

From Gelsenkirchen main station you go towards Ückendorf, where you turn onto the Zollverein cycle path and from there onto the Erzbahntrasse. At the fork between the two paths, Holger will provide you with cold drinks and small snacks at his ore railway stall.

The Erzbahn route takes you over high bridges
