So on the Hessian side, the route is excellently signposted. In Bavaria, however, this leaves a lot to be desired! Either we were too stupid to find the markings, or they are simply missing! If this is still improved, but that's a nice tour.

Actually, the third stage goes until after Einruhr. That was too far for me for the first day. The tour is splendid to share. In Höfen there are many places to stay and especially meter high hedges worth seeing, even have their own small trail.

A while ago, when I did the tour with my dad. Summer 2011. That's why I created the tour later and am not sure anymore if we have taken the upper or lower route during the last kilometers from the Gaistalalm ... ;-)
But after 15 km and almost 2,000 meters we did not care that much ... But nevertheless

From the "large parking lot" we walked in the direction of the bus stop(s) and then turned left. However, it must be said here that the small ways that Komoot sometimes proposes are not correct! Here you should stay on the main path, which sooner or later also leads up.
