Teiche-Runde bei Lieske
Eine schöne Runde einmal "durch" die vielen Teiche bei Lieske. Trotz Wind und Kälte war es mit dem Schnee und der Sonne eine tolle Atmosphäre. Ein dichter Schilfgürtel umfasst die abgelassenen Teiche. Er öffnet sich aber auch immer wieder gibt weite Blicke über die Teiche frei.

Streifzug 13 | Schönfelder Hochland
Tour übers Schönfelder Hochland bei Schnee(matsch), Nebel und Nieselregen. Aber zum Ende kam dann doch noch die Sonne raus. Und ein Stück Kuchen gabs zur Belohnung.

What a beautiful stage! It had a bit of everything: wide fields, beautiful views, dense forests, a castle, vineyards, and a via ferrata.
From the tranquil Balduinstein, the first climb, as almost always, began. Unfortunately, the Lahn hiking trail was closed in one section, and viewpoints like the Hölloch

Since the two stages are quite short and don't have too much elevation gain, I was able to combine them easily. The route also offered plenty of variety and great views, making it one of the most beautiful stages along the Lahn... at least for me :).

Final sprint. In bright sunshine, I set off on the last leg toward the mouth of the Lah River. And I think it was a truly beautiful, even perfect, end to the last 2.5 weeks.
