At the end of the Römer-Lippe route starting at the Lippe source in Bad Lippspringe, a day in Xanten was announced today. When the weather was nice, we went past the Xanterner North Sea and South Sea to the Xanten Archaeological Park. Then a short tour through Xanten to the train station and the return trip to Paderborn.

Little break in the Thuringian Forest. Dam Schmalwasser in Tambach-Dietharz and at the end the unique Gibirgsklamm Röllchen. From there again ascent to the Falkenstein and past the Steinernes Tor back in the direction of Tambach-Dietharz. Finally, the Hüloch and a short detour into the Marderbach Gorge.
