Today we drove to the Seiser Alm in changeable weather but good visibility. It was actually supposed to be a day of rest, but it was just too beautiful up there for that 😂

Today was a cloudy, rainy day. According to webcams, there was also “thick soup” on the Seiser Alm. So we stayed in the valley. We walked to the Völser Weiher without planning any elevation gain (hahaha). A beautifully situated small lake where you can swim great when the weather is good!

We hiked a lot through the forest again today. Large parts of it are on the Oswald von Wolkenstein path. We then turned towards the Schlernbödele Hut. Unfortunately we were a little late for the final climb. We then hiked a longer tour back to Seis above the Oswald Weg. As a reward there was apple strudel and coffee 😄

To get into the groove at a "pleasant" 30 degrees, we chose the forest. The temperatures were pleasant and the hiking wasn’t quite that sweaty 😄

The weather is good this morning. So let's go out and walk a levada near our hotel. We don't want to drive far. Are some roads closed due to landslide.
Other organized tours probably thought so too. In any case, there was a lot going on at the entrance... After we left that behind us, it was a very nice, easy and relaxed tour

Because the weather doesn't really cooperate, we went to the botanical garden in Funchal today. It was a mistake not to take the cable car up there. I drove the car in first gear 2.5km up what felt like a 20% incline... Never again! 😆

Actually we wanted to go to the 25 waterfalls. Shortly before the finish, the road was blocked by a landslide. So we took a quick look at Seixal and Porto Moniz. The promenade high on the cliff is beautiful. On the other hand, we quickly fled from Porto. It's way too touristy for us 😆 We also liked

On the last day we went to the Seiser Alm again. When the weather was nice, we went on another circular hike in the other direction to Monte Piz. It was worth it 💪😄
