I actually managed to ride an unknown section on the way to Café Hasenacker - from Riede Castle through the forest over to Elbenberg. Beautiful route up and down and pleasantly cool in the forest🥶.
The cakes at Hasenacker were sensational again!

We had a wonderful Whit Monday ride with 9 1/2 participants. Once again we were extremely lucky with the weather and had a lot of fun cycling cross-country. Only the section through the Eder meadows was too muddy for some of the girls and the puddles too deep. Nice refreshment

Today I did some fine-tuning on my bike and riding style with competent support. A very nice ride with almost no traffic, 99% asphalt and 2 different cycle paths.

With nice company, we went on a nice ride over mountains and rivers in wonderful spring weather. Lesson learned: A bar of battery life is quickly gone... 😉

We wanted to take advantage of the early summer weather on Easter Saturday and so we went to Hamburg somewhat spontaneously. First by car from KS to GÖ, then by Metronom to Hanover and from there to Hundertwasser train station in Uelzen. Then we finally got on our bikes and headed north along the Ilmenau

The train journey from Baunatal to Willingen went well with two changes. I drove the journey back, which was very varied in terms of route and landscape, a little faster than usual and it went quite well. However, the seat flesh could still use a little toughening up...

Short relaxation tour with an extended coffee break at Schwälmer in Melsungen. In the forest near Bergheim the paths were still deep and wet, but otherwise we were able to relax. The only thing to complain about today is the headwind - never strong, but as always against us.

Our cycling group has to train so that we can make it from Munich to Venice in June. Luckily, it is hilly enough in northern Hesse to allow you to slowly get used to the altitude. Today it was a relaxed tour in dry weather but unfortunately overcast skies.

I haven't ridden a bike this early in the year for a long time. The weather was great, but the paths were still a bit muddy in some sections.

Great October weather was forecast...but I found it a bit too cold. The elevation gain was well deserved, my knee held up after the meniscus operation, and my battery was empty at the end. Great scenery, beautiful cycle paths, a successful pit stop at Diemelsee - all in all, everything was great!
