A path leads to the different levels of the waterfall. It's cool up here. After all, the waterfall is at an altitude of 1700 m. The water drops here 83 m.

After a night in a simple mountain hut, we begin the descent to the mountain village of Cachote. Our pickup is waiting here. We drive back to the coast via an adventurous slope and through creek beds.

A hike through the water landscape of the Aschau ponds. Water birds, frogs and dragonflies can be observed. The southern heath is an experience even without heath areas.
The ash ponds have been part of a water protection area since 1982. In 1987 they were also designated as a bird sanctuary.
