This time we were a larger group: 8 women and 7 men. But we also went to my favorite part of town: the Elbe island of Wilhelmsburg, which many Hamburg residents don't really know, only seeing it when quickly passing through on their way south across the Elbe.

This Wednesday, we went on a typical winter hike: close to the city, easily accessible by public transport, and with a lunch stop.
We (7 women and 8 men) started in Wellingsbüttel and then walked along the Alster River and through Ohlsdorf Cemetery to our destination: the Barmbek Chess Café.
