We arrived by boat and continued our journey by horse-drawn carriage thanks to free seats in a tour group, including a short island tour with great explanations from the coachman. We returned from the monastery on foot, including along the west coast with the rolling Baltic Sea 😀

Today, the approach is via Scharfenstein-Schönbrunn, and from Wiesenbad along the Pöhla River to Bärenstein, past the Marmor, and up to the top. The return journey takes a cool descent from the upper basin and a relaxing ride through the woods all the way home.

Today I finally had the time and the right weather for the first ride of 2026, since indoor sports 🏓 still take priority this weekend.
Unfortunately, it wasn't quite as warm and a bit windier than yesterday, but for the first ride after the break, I'm satisfied. Man and machine are running! 😀
