With 36 degrees it was pretty hot on July 10th. Due to the many relatively shady paths and many benches, it was surprisingly bearable!
At such temperatures, the animals are of course quite exhausted! Only the bonobos swung through their outdoor enclosure with deafening screams!

A trip to the Affenberg near Salem is really worth a trip! I especially like the storks! The feeding of the birds was accompanied by interesting information!
You can't get to the monkeys that well anymore. During Corona times, the previously common feeding by visitors was abolished for reasons of infection

I didn't even know that Tübingen or the Eberhard Karls University had such a gem! The Botanical Garden is a central facility of the University of Tübingen and is used for teaching and research, but is also open to the public. During today's walk I was able to really enjoy peace and variety!

On Thursday, June 1st, 2023, we went to the former military training area in the Swabian Alb bishopric area! We started our bike tour from the "Zaininger Barriere" hiking car park. Yesterday I was drawn to the Beuren open-air museum again. On 07.11. it goes into hibernation there. Unbelievable, but it's hard for me to know that I won't be able to go for a long time now. For me it's like coming home!
