We started at the church in Beuningen. The route was gently uphill and downhill, along roads and good hiking trails. We had beautiful views of the landscape in sunny weather.
A visit to the Aberetum (de Lutte) in autumn is always recommended. The many different trees in their autumnal dress are beautiful

The tour starts at the Scheunencafe in Lodbergen. The café is housed in a half-timbered house, newly built in 2014 but with old beams.

We set off from the Hotel Aquamarin in light rain. With a gentle up and down, we reached the Kulm ski jump. Over coffee and cake at the run-out area, we were able to take in the sheer scale of the facility. A recommended place to take a break, everything brand new❕️

We started by bus to Bad Aussee. We passed the flea market in the spa gardens and crossed the Mercedes Bridge, then continued along the Kainischtraun River. Shortly before Lake Ödensee, the trail led us through a forest. We took advantage of the lovely refreshment stop at the lake.

A beautiful winter hike through the snow-covered countryside. The trail led along the Hase River, a familiar path, towards Schutenmühle. It continued via Brachtlage, Gänhaug, and Münzrbrocks Mersch back home.
