Why go far away when the good stuff is so close...
Morning walk in the Gelpe River, wonderfully cool and a 10-minute drive away. It was always Balou's favorite water walk. Unfortunately, Alisha isn't a water dog. 🤣 She just plays with the garden hose.

Even though the weather isn't great, we hike around the Eschbach Dam. It's wonderfully green, muddy in places, but the dam is fairly empty. We saw a family of swans with their chicks, but otherwise there were few other waterfowl around.
