The Sesvenna hut is located between the Engadin (Canton Graubünden) and the Vinschgau (South Tyrol), is ideal for hiking, ski tours and also for crossing the Alps by bike. The Val d'Uina Gorge is legendary for cyclists, today we climbed the Sesvenna from the other side.

Evening round on the high ball with a summer sunset. The night sky invited to a bivouac and the Milky Way looked down gloriously. At 04:00 the first eager sunrise hikers appeared.

Bike&Hike, by bike to the Klostertaler Hütte and then on foot up to the red Furka and over the SE shoulder to the Tälihorn. The golden eagle flew directly over us and the summit, unfortunately with backlight and without a suitable telephoto. It was an experience nonetheless.

With the currently hot temperatures, it was very cool in the Gauerblick Cave. The rest of the tour was rather hot (Bike & Hike).
However, you should be sure-footed for the descent through the throat, steep and a lot of rubble on ledges, not recommended if there is a lot of residual snow.
