Today I went for another short gravel ride on my XC Cube racing bike. I got it back in action after three months, and all I had to do was top up the air, as both tires still had 1 bar of pressure. The route is a full gravel loop with paved farm roads, and the gravel sections were all rock hard.

On this short ride, I wanted to test whether the alternative route between Bevenrode and the abandoned village of Hegerdorf is still open. The route remains clear. Today I went for a spring ride around Braunschweig, mostly using paved and well-maintained gravel roads. Everything was nice and dry, and I didn't get any new dirt on my bike. Unfortunately, my road bikes aren't ready for the new season yet, so I'm still riding my mountain bike.
