Parking in the Link Road car park and walking down into town towards the Quay. Follow the road up the slope towards the war memorial past the boating club. Descend down the coastal path parallel to the beach, there is a rocky path down to the sand from here. We walked towards Stepping point but cut inland

Heading out from the Carnewas/Bedruthan steps car park south along the rocky foot path. Foot paths are a mixture of soil and slate and narrow in places, keep an eye on the kids! Guided photography walk with Kate Whiston around the fantastic Trevose Head. Today the sea mist hung low over the head land but soon burnt off as we walked west. The costal path is a mix of slate and muddy rutted tracks, narrow in places so kids need to be under strict supervision. Benches can be found

Free carparking although its small. Walk out of the gate, across a trickling De Lank River and up the slope to the granite stone summits of Roughtor, Little Roughtor and Showery Tor. Roughtor is 400m or 1313ft above sea level, one mile northwest of Brown Willy, the highest point in Cornwall (420m) Crowdy

Leaving the car outside the former home of 9ft 3in Child of Hale, we walk east past St Mary's Church and straight towards a gated pot-holed and rutted track between hedges with fields either side. Walk south towards the decommissioned lighthouse.
This is the Mersey Way, a 22-mile trail which runs from
