Went on a tour with the destination Olfen. Just like that without any prior planning. The sign saying “Römerroute” is slowly disappearing on the Lippe. The new Lippeaue construction site is slowly being completed. The cycle paths in Marler- and Halterner-Lippeauen were easy to ride and the usual canal

A tour to former mines nearby. By the way, drive through a few nature reserves and renatured areas. It was quite nice to drive except for the Telgtenbusch from Bertlich to Transval (wasn't such a good idea) only forest paths 😟.

Out of curiosity I drove to the Lippeaue at Lippramsdorf/Marl.
The construction site for the redesign of the flood protection in the Lippe region has really picked up speed. Nature will probably be able to spread properly later. It's gotten pretty nice now.
