We started at the Hohenwittlingen hiking car park and followed the signs to the “divided rock”. The first section is sunny past meadows and paddocks and then leads on wide paths through the shady forest. A stony, steep path that requires surefootedness leads up to the divided rock.

Beautiful mostly shady hike on easy paths. Beautifully located along the stream. Several ways to cool your feet 🦶🏼 in the clear water.
Highlights along the circular hike are several small caves and the ruin (short steep ascent and after night rain it was very slippery!)
Aim the Wimsenerhöhle. Great place

Nice hike along the Iller, through shady forests with many highlights such as idyllic ponds, sculpture trail, bird watcher, past paddocks and waterfalls ....

We started with the ship under a cloudy sky from Forelle am See up to the Plansee.
With initially light rain and later heavy "pouring", we hiked the wonderful high path along the lake to the starting point. Despite the bad weather, it was a wonderful, easy hike with great views of the lake.
Also suitable for children and dogs 😊
