Today we combined our visit to the artisans' house with a hike in and around Langenwolmsdorf. The result was a rather crooked figure eight. Right at the start, we visited the little fairytale land; the sand sculpture of the Sandman has unfortunately suffered a bit.

Sun! Finally, sunshine after so many overcast days! So, off we went to explore a new route. We'd already hiked the section between Butterberg and the B98, but in the opposite direction, and it's always good to have something familiar.

The fog simply refused to lift, even though the sun tried its best to break through. There was also almost no wind to further combat it. However, such fog can create a special atmosphere and isn't really bothersome unless you're planning to climb to a viewpoint.

And with the current snow conditions, you can basically go anywhere: on a narrow path right by the Elbe, on the usual bike path, or anywhere in between. Christmas Garden Pillnitz
