Put on the bike saddle before the greatest heat: From Altendorf - after a detour to the district of Unterkonhof - we went on the Bavarian-Bohemian Friendship Path to Schwarzach and Wölsendorf, then parallel to the A 93 into "Venice" and Nabburg, and on to Perschen and Neusath. Way back via the SAD 37

On the Bavarian-Bohemian Friendship Path to Schwarzach and Wölsendorf, then parallel to the A 93 to Diendorf and then via the SAD 37 and State Road 2159 to Willhof and back on the cycle path. By the way, the first kilometer is missing - I simply forgot to start the recording...🙈

Tried a new Nordic walking route with a little more altitude and - "wish it's there Deifl wüll" - promptly got onto the much-cited "wooden path" twice...🙈
Nevertheless, via Tannenberg and Herzogberg, you reach the Marklhof chapel again as an "intermediate stage" for the final sprint to Altendorf.

From Pfaben through the stone forest and to the "highlights" such as Saubadfelsen (858 m), Weißenstein castle ruins (863 m) and the Upper Palatinate Tower on the Platte (946 m). The route runs on forest paths and small forest roads.

The tour leads from the Schwarzach valley to the Auerbach valley and back on sections of municipal, district and state roads that are comparatively little used by cars. From the starting point in Altendorf it goes to Unterauerbach, then to Schwarzach, and back via the villages of Willhof, Schirmdorf and Trossau.
