Very beautiful nature, but approx. 20% uphill/downhill. This tour can only be hiked in the indicated direction. In the opposite direction, a long stretch (down) is not accessible - see photo. The Rübezahlalm is highly recommended and inexpensive. Thursday is currently a day off. Walking shoes required.

The tour starts in a public parking lot, also approved for campers, in Wittenberge. It leads on the top of the dike via Müggendorf, Cumlosen to the ferry pier opposite Schnackenburg. The return journey takes the same route, as there are seldom bike paths on the busy narrow federal roads. Nevertheless
