Tag 9 - Teil 2 - Gyor - Feld hinter Wieselburg (Ungarn)
Komoot hat Tour bei einer Pause abgebrochen - keine Ahnung... Fortsetzung wurde 10 km später neu erstellt. Ein Fernradweg führt von Gyor bis Bratislava, dem gut zu folgen ist. Allerdings führt er mehrere Dutzend Kilometer entlang einer viel befahrenen Straße. Von Land und Leuten bekommt man allerdings einiges zu sehen und man macht gut Strecke

Tag 8 - Bratislava - Gyor
Bratislava ist sehr hektisch aber für Fahrradfahrer würde einiges getan. An der Donau wird man bis zum Wasserkraftwerk mit einem traumhaften Abschnitt belohnt. Perfekter Asphalt, super Blick auf die Donau - zum Genießen. Wer über die Brücke nach Gyor fährt muss starke Nerven haben und angstfrei sein. Man fährt auf einer vielbefahrenen fur Radler verbotenen Straße. Eine Alternative von Komoot war mit einem Tor und Schloss abgesperrt.

Tag 7 - Wien - Bratislava
Genialer Donauradweg... Toller Asphalt, tolle Sichtachsen auf Stadt und andere Dinge. Bis Bratislava sieht man die Donau allerdings nicht so viel wie man denkt. Der Imbiss in Schönau ist zu empfehlen. Sonst kommt nicht viel... Teils Kilometer lang nur geradeaus. Bratislava scheint sehr fahrradfreundlich eingestellt zu sein.

Tag 4 - Radeschin - Hevlin
70 km hoch und runter, heftiges Gewitter am letzten Berg und dann sollte es flacher = schöner werden und bis zur österreichischen Grenze gehen. Aber die Bremse hinten hatte einen Defekt und schrottete die Felge. Zur Pension ging es mit Privatauto eines freundlichen Tschechen. Das Rad wurde in Wien repariert wo wir eh hin wollten. Tag 5 wurde mit Bussen, U- und S-Bahn fortgesetzt, da zwischen Laa und Wien Schienenersatzverkehr war.

Tag 3 Chrudim - Raduirgendwas
Viele Höhenmeter kombiniert mit vielen kleinen Abfahrten. Wenig Verkehr, Straßen gut, Belag teilweise sehr gut. Zwei von Komoot doofe Passagen.

Tag 2 Turnov - Chrudim
Sehr hügelig, viele Baustellen und wenige Radwege. Im Umkreis von Podrubice wurde es wesentlich besser. Viele Autofahrer sind aggressiv.

A varied route with beautiful sections, but also some terrible paved roads between Bautzen and Weißenberg. The Spree Cycle Path often lacked the Spree River, and the signs were difficult to follow at the beginning until about Sohland.

The destination was a renaturalized pond on the old dump of the former Olbersdorf open-cast mine to document dragonfly activity. The journey there, of course, was made in the most sensible way possible: by bike. And with a well-chosen detour via Herrnhut to avoid cycling the Neisse Cycle Path twice.

A beautiful ride along the Neisse River, with a fortunate tailwind, via Rothenburg, past Bad Muskau, and on to Weißwasser. The destination was an annual family nature festival at the Quetsche River. The return journey was even more relaxing, by train. A rain front was approaching...

I actually wanted to take part in the Star Cycle Tour for the first time, but the genealogists' meeting at Krobnitz Castle appealed to me more. So I created my own beautiful tour in combination.
