3-Gipfel Haberstein-Schneeberg-Nußhardt
Wer im Fichtelgebirge Gipfel aus luftiger Höhe betrachten möchte, der sollte auf den Schneeberg, Franken's höchster Berg - wandern. Auf seinem Gipfel thront ein skurriler weißer Turm aus Zeiten des Kalten Krieges. Das ehemalige militärische Sperrgebiet ist inzwischen wieder für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich und mit Picknickplätzen bestückt.

In 1979, two families managed to escape in a self-made balloon, landing in a forest between Naila and Froschbachtal. The advertising column there informs about this. The newly opened snack bar is close by, be sure to stop by!

Very nice! A circular tour that is easy to hike, especially after the lack of fresh air at Christmas. Wide panorama on the Wülfersreutherhöhe, but also beautiful, winding forest paths and very few forest autobahns.

Followed the sun and actually escaped the fog! I've never been here before - the land of 1,000 ponds, Plothen. Originally there were up to 2,000 ponds, today there are only 600. People fish here and you can watch birds. Nature reserve and local recreation area near Schleiz. Lots of little paths between
