Last leg! Today I reach Grenoble!

Col de la Croix de Fer!
If I've conquered that, I'll have reached all the peaks of my tour.
Once again, I'm lugging liters of food and drink through the mountains! Better safe than sorry – and hunger on the climb is more tormenting than any meter of elevation in my legs!

Waking up in the morning at my secluded spot at the ruins of the old fort with a magnificent view over Lac du Mont Cenis. I see several marmots—or at least their fluffy butts as they run away from me 😄
