After my first attempt to ride the Jägersteig failed miserably at the end of March due to snow (in the valley it was 18° and sun) now finally the revenge. The ascent is clearly exhausting. Went up a very nice trail. Then under the ski jump (Lost Place!) purely in the Jägersteig. View was awesome. Trails

If you don't feel like pounding the pounds from the all-inclusive holiday over hills, this route is just right. Hardly any gradients, little traffic after Langenzenn and with a westerly wind you can sail home nicely.

Mom in law thanks for babysitting the kids! Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten a meter 🤣 very nice tour on which the cross-country ski runs go up and trails down. Bayreuther Haus is the ideal anchor point for a break or two. Monday rest day. The forest roads are freshly graveled... so you swim a little
