Früher war alles besser und ich bewegte mich irgendwie geschmeidigter mit dem Rad. Heute der plumpe Versuch einen halbwegs guten Saisonauftakt hinzulegen, doch so war das nicht geplant!

On the last day, we rested our weary bones, boarded a boat, and sailed to Machern Monastery. There, we stocked up on plenty of souvenirs and enjoyed a leisurely lunch before returning to Traben-Trabach in the afternoon.
A little Moselle boat tour was a must 😊

Third day and again very mixed weather 🌦
What would a Moselle vacation be without a decent vineyard hike?
So we chose a beautiful circular route through four vineyards (Wolfer Goldgrube, Kröver Nacktarsch, Kinheimer Rosenberg, Römerhang).
Of course, we also included a stunning view of the Moselle loop

Second day and terrible weather 🌧
Hardly had we arrived in Traben🐎Trabach when it started to rain. Nevertheless, we explored the old wine trading town.
After our hopes for better weather finally vanished, we set off through the vineyards to the war memorial high above the town.

First day: Exploring Bernkastel-Kues and the surrounding area.
Part of the way along the Moselsteig trail leads to the Landshut Castle ruins, over Mount Olympus, to the small waterfall, and back to the beautiful old town, where we could have stayed much longer 🍷🍾🍷
