This Sunday afternoon, we went for a short family drive in the cool 9°C weather. We met Maggie's brother and his wife at the parking lot in Freisen and drove around the countryside for a bit. A little family outing like this is lovely. We'll probably do it again soon.

Today's tour, blessed with glorious spring weather, was simply a matter of following our noses. To keep our training in shape, we also chose a few climbs, such as the one from Remmesweiler to Habenichts. Along the way, it was lovely to see that nature was slowly switching into spring mode.

After climbing so many heights on the Costa Blanca, we decided today to drive up our local mountain, the Schaumberg. The temperature was very pleasant, but the visibility was somewhat obscured by the Saharan dust in the air.
