Taking in the Roman road to Brecon Gsp and then heading up to the 'diving board' at the top of Fan Y Big. On a good day you can see the huge amphitheatre that curves up towards Pen Y Fan.
Follow the ridgeline and eventually have a fantastic decent to the reservoir near Talybont.

Hard going over the mountains. Plenty of rocky sections. Some hike a bike. I took a few wrong turns but got to Llyn Y Fan Fach in the end.
Chose to ride road back. Lovely downhill from top of Llyn y Fan Fach to the road.

This ride starts and ends at the Heritage Centre in Gower. You can start at the car park near Parc Le Brios, but this can be crowded.
Overall, the surface is hard packed, but nearer to the sea, the path can become a bit more boggy if it has rained a lot.

MTB-rute fra Garnant, op ad Scotch Pines og derefter over toppen til Pentwyn Mawr - Cefn Drum og til sidst ned ad Grenig Road til Garnant. Bedst at køre på en tør dag!
