The path leads along and over the ski slope from the Ochsengarten to the Balbachalm. This makes the climb quite strenuous. From the Balbachalm to the Bielefelder Hütte, the route takes you along a mountain path with a beautiful view of Oetz. If the sky is clear, you can enjoy a great sunset at the hut.
