Vandret i dag gennem Nachtigallental og Winkhauser Bachtal mod Hexbachtal. Lige nu ser naturen ud som nyvasket. I Frohnhausen blev fodgængerbroen over A40 brugt; som man kan se, ruller trafikken 🚗🚙🚕 stadig - men det vil ændre sig brat nu før påske 🐣. På Dümptener Bauernhof var der pænt travlt i det smukke vejr 😎.

Today I took advantage of the beautiful weather to hike to the Kammesheidt farm. They were supposed to be serving waffles, mulled wine, and hot chocolate from 2 pm. Poor planning – I arrived too early and didn't want to wait. But my homemade nut slice was still quite delicious. It gave me a real boost for the rest of the hike.

A half-day hike 🥾always close to the Essen/Mülheim city border, crossing the border several times. The starting point was the Grugatrasse under the Wickenburg Bridge; the hike ends in Haarzopf (Neue Mitte); then you can even do some shopping 🛒.

Endnu mere natur 🌳, grønt 🌿 og ro 🤫 bliver det virkelig ikke. Vandret gennem flere naturreservater; bl.a. Auberg. Indtil 2003 lå her en militærøvelsesplads for Bundeswehr🪖. Ved Menden-broen er der kortvarigt slut med roen, før det igen bliver fredeligt i Witthausbusch. Under kirsebærblomstringen
