A short winter hike around Au and Schoppernau in brilliant sunshine. There's hardly any sign of winter, though; we can already walk in T-shirts. The villages never fail to charm us with their old and enchanting houses.

Short but very intense 😅. We started at the Faschinajoch pass under overcast skies and followed a hiking trail up to the Hahnenkopf summit. The trail was mostly obscured by deep snow. Since it runs mostly on the leeward side, all the snow had blown there and accumulated. The 300 meters of elevation

Our little winter getaway in the Austrian Bregenzerwald begins today with a short snowshoe hike in Damüls.

Hoping for an early spring 🥳, we booked our two e-bikes 🚲 in for servicing at our trusted bike shop. The beautiful weather lured us outside 😎, so we took our bikes out of winter storage and rode straight to the highly recommended "Radmeise" in Schmitzingen. From there, we walked home along the Klosterweg

Spontaneous trip to Menzenschwand on Saturday afternoon. There wasn't much snow left, but it was fantastic for skiing. It was incredibly fun 😊

Today we walked from our holiday cottage in Nyons along an old railway line to the beautiful old town of Venterol. Although the sun shone brightly under a clear blue sky, there was still an icy wind. So it was no surprise that everything in Venterol was closed and it felt almost like a ghost town.

A beautiful hike above Remuzat in the Drôme department at Roche du Caire. Here, you can observe wild griffon vultures in a protected area. It's simply stunning to watch these majestic birds glide relatively close by, riding the updrafts along the cliff face. This short but rewarding hike is worth it

Before our event at the KKL Luzern, we strolled through Lucerne in the afternoon in beautiful weather. Only the Saharan dust made the light very hazy.
It was a lovely, relaxing walk through the old town and along the lake promenade, before we enjoyed the film The Lion King with the 21st Century Symphony
