I dag ville vi tage svævebanen fra Thale til Hexentanzplatz. Desværre kørte svævebanen ikke på grund af vinden, så vi parkerede oppe på parkeringspladsen. Derfra er der en fantastisk udsigt over Bodetal.

Today we went for a walk around the Steinhorst Basin. With such lovely weather, we weren't the only ones with that idea; it was quite busy. Nevertheless, it's always a nice walk 🦆🦢🪿🐦⬛🐦.

For our last hike of 2025, we chose a short section of the Rothaarsteig trail. The route is beautiful, offering fantastic views at every turn, including of the Bruchhauser Steine rock formations 😍. It was quite slippery in places, requiring some care, but it was definitely worth it 😊.

Today we set off towards Leiberg when fog suddenly rolled in, making the hike extra beautiful 🤩. I also saw a fogbow (white rainbow) for the first time; I didn't even know they existed until today.

Today we hiked a loop from Dalheim Monastery to St. Anne's Chapel. The path led past the Husen flood retention basin and the renaturalized Altenau river. Despite the gray, dreary weather, there were only a few people around, but we saw plenty of animals 📸.

Today we chose another of the circular hiking trails around Bad Wünnenberg. The avenue route starts at the old courthouse in Fürstenberg and leads across fields and through the forest above the Aabach reservoir.
