Day 9 is done. Today I started early at Pension Mertens in Altenbeken. The gravel routes through the Teutoburg Forest and the Egge Mountains were really fun 👌 Unfortunately, the effects of the last storms and the longhorn beetle were clearly visible here too.

Day 8 started relaxed at the Grohnder Fährhaus. We first went to Hameln and briefly through the city center, past the bakery and had breakfast 😃

Day seven of my German Divide Tour 👌 Today again with the best summer weather🥵 Today's section of the route was really nice, the climbs were challenging but the panoramic views were really great and worth it. The ground was great, it was fun to ride. Although a wider tire might be better for future tours😄

Day six is done and the Brocken has been conquered 😄 The climb was very demanding and took just over two hours. Overall, the route was very easy to ride today and was fun 👌 The condition of the "forest" around the Brocken was quite frightening, hopefully it will recover in the next few years.

Day one is done 💪 Very relaxed start along the Oder in great weather. Then almost only rolled on quiet back roads and asphalt until Seerow. Then it was off into the forest with a lot of loose ground🥵 The sandy sections were very strenuous and challenging to ride😄 Got lost in the forest near Platkow

Today we deviated from the original route and went along the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path to Essen👌 the first 80 kilometers were okay weather-wise, we went through a mystical Ruhr Valley with mountains full of fog and clouds. On the asphalt it went very well, of course. The next 40 kilometers from Arnsberg
