The Mönchgut should have visited every nature fan of Rügen times. Especially in the off season always very nice and quiet - especially along the shore. Recommendation: In the morning, from the "Taun-Hövt" to Nonnenloch, on the rocky shore around the south shore with a view of peninsula Klein Zicker back

A highlight for Rügen fan!
- To look at the huge chalk cliffs in their full size and beauty sometimes from the beach!
Looks much more impressive from below, than just on top of the king's chair or the Victoria's view.
Absolutely a pity for many that the descent is not restored to the king chair - probably

Mönchgut to the sunset
Who visited Rügen without sunrise and sunset, is probably not a real Rügenfan.
To enjoy this peace and distance here is indescribable.
The pictures can describe all this fragmentarily.

A chalk cliff view even for inexperienced hikers!
That should not be missed by a Rügen fan, to look at the huge chalk cliffs in their full size and beauty sometimes from the beach!
Looks much more impressive from below than just looking down.

Mönchgut - the secret Highligt of Rügen
Also in the high season very nice and quiet - especially along the shore.
From the "Taun-Hövt" by Groß Zicker on Pfarrwitwenhaus over to the playground, up to the remarkable vantage point on the Bakenberg follows the trail down towards the port Gager.

Very nice - but also very remote campsite. 5,5km from the main road L30 Glewitzer Fähr-Garz the concrete path is quite long. For the absolutely remote location with a now well-equipped space, quite new sanitary facilities and even in the middle of the square of a shopping mall compensated.
