A freshly serviced bike literally cried out for a longer lap on Saturdays, so I went on a new version of my Ammersee lap. This time with a nice stop at the highly recommended Fischer ice workshop.

Shot a new version of my favorite lap in the best of company. As expected, the train journey to Lenggries at the weekend was a bit more difficult than during the week. But we still get 2 places.

In the best weather down to Tegernsee. Great beer garden (Kaltenbrunn), with fair prices, great views and, above all, bike parking space in sight.

Part of me said enough was enough, part of me wanted to ride my bike in the sun. So it became a rather easy ride with a few new corners. As always, we left far too late and therefore a lot of Sunday drivers, dogs, horses, etc. The wind wasn't exactly conducive to the whole thing either 😅

Despite the icy wind at 5 degrees, which blew at us from all sides, and rain which slapped our faces, a dozen brave women took the opportunity to do a little lap together. My first big group ride in almost a year and I can't wait for things to really get going again in May.

Tried a few new routes to the east on Sundays and checked out the classics. At the level crossing to Großhelfendorfen I was a bit lost and only found the hidden provisional crossing after a good shout from the locals... Just cut the hedge low and put a few wooden boards on it.
