Mammutmarsch Leipzig 30KM 2026
Zum ersten mal nahmen mein Bruder und meine Wenigkeit an einem Mammutmarsch teil. Wir wählten uns die 30km erstmal aus-Probewandern. Leipzig war für uns Zwickauer naheliegend und auch der erste des Jahres. Es war alles Top durch organisiert, von Anfang bis Ende. Die Streckenführung bestens gekennzeichnet. Verpflegungsstellen bei Kilometer 9 u.23. Hier sollte ich gleich erwähnen das man sich einen eignen Kaffeebecher mitbringen sollte. Bei 9000 Wanderern nennt man das Abfallvermeidung. Die Tour führte uns durch Gegenden von Leipzig die wir bis dahin noch nicht kannten. Viel grün bis km 23 und die lezten km ein Stadtkurs was einfach dazu gehört! Zum Schluß wurden wir mit großem Hallo,Laola und einer Medaille empfangen. Wir sind uns einig in Dresden sind wir wieder am Start.

The Christmas market opened in Zwickau on November 25th.
The official opening took place at 6pm. Santa Claus gave a speech and the tree finally lit up again.

The Luisenburg got its name from the Prussian Queen Luise, when she and her husband Friedrich Wilhelm III. visited the Luisenburg in 1805. The term castle does not refer to a castle, but to the entire area around the rock labyrinth.
Before the royal visit, the Luisenburg was referred to as Lossburg, Luxsburg

Thanks for the great description. 9,000 people, that's amazing! That's a real cash cow, and the effort was definitely worth it.
