I was actually looking for Tor 9 - Venloer Heide. I found the Venloer Heide with great hiking trails but not the gate. My start and end point was the Birkenhof, where you can stop off afterwards.

A nice afternoon round around Birten. My battery was empty after Birten, but I think you can find the way to the starting point that way.

A nice walk with my brother and his girlfriend. Unfortunately the sun was gone, but came back when we were finally able to get hold of three cappuccinos. It was a nice end.

A Kapellen evening round. Unfortunately it was getting a bit late and too dark for photos. I will submit some later. You can also run well in rainy weather. There are hardly any mud paths😃

Spellen is a lovely little place. I could let my dog run off the leash here. But as soon as it gets a little warmer, there are probably quite a few cyclists here. Spellen is highly recommended as a starting point for a bike tour.

One last lap in the snow with Trixi. It's actually a shame that the white splendor will no longer be there next week. At the end there was a jar of homemade jam.

If you like the Lower Rhine, this is the right place for you, whatever the season. The route is easy to walk with the dog. One of my favorite hikes.
