The tour is easily accessible by public transport from Berlin. The tour alternates between forest areas and residential areas. There are no refreshment stops and no rest areas on the tour. Occasionally the traffic noise from nearby streets disturbs. At the end is a swimming area with a sandy beach.

The route is suitable for a short walk in front of the thermal baths. I found it strange walking through an area polluted with ordnance. However, the route is certainly not a good hike. Most of the time the route goes along roads.

I can only recommend the hike to a limited extent. The problem is that the trail is both a bike path and a sidewalk. There are several rest areas along the way. And at the beginning of the route there is an "official" swimming area. It sure is nice in the summer.
