Today's program was to make a stretch. After a nice visit to my cousin, we wanted to start as early as possible to be with Tune at noon. When we got there, we were greeted with delicious, home-cooked vegan curry. Thank you very much again for that. The guided tour that followed was an absolute highlight

In Gengenbach, I quickly bought a souvenir and went on to my cousin. Because of the altitude difference, we opted for the short variant, which also turned out to be a good choice due to the weather. Well rested and pampered from head to toe, we got back on the bike. Alex and his family accompanied us the first part of the way out of Pforzheim, so that we could still do a few kilometers together. The final stage of our tour on the European cycle path R1 took us to Brandenburg and the landscape changed accordingly. Lots of gravel, but also great paved bike paths through fields and forests.
Luckily we didn't find out until we were already waiting for our train that there was a lioness running away
