Ostertour-Pestrupper Gräberfeld
Radeln durch die Wildeshauser Geest, teils auf allergröbstem Schotter, zur Hunte, ins Pestrupper Gräberfeld und rasant nach Amerika, also Klein Amerika. Wir wollten dann doch nach Hause und nutzten dafür die Ozeanbrücke. Auf der anderen Seite angekommen, bot eine Bank, an der mäandernden Delme, eine Rastmöglichkeit nach der "anstrengenden" Ozeanüberquerung.

På de første 20 km havde vi kraftig modvind og var glade for at have e-bikes. På svæveflyvepladsen Große Höhe var der livlig aktivitet. Stierne i skovene var delvist stærkt beskadigede af skovarbejde. Det er udpegede vandre- og cykelstier gennem "Wilde Geest" og markedsføres turistisk. Et stykke er samtidig

Herligste forårsvejr og så gik det ellers løs!
Temaet: 5 floder og en ny e-bike. Min mand var blevet ramt af mandeinfluenza, så jeg cyklede alene. En ofte og gerne kørt rute. Først langs vores fredelige Delme. I Strom gik det gennem Ochtumniederung. Faktisk er de fleste reder allerede besat af ynglende

I took advantage of the wonderful early spring weather and visited the Ollen and Weser rivers.
My destination was Neptun – the fish fry in Brake. On the menu were smelt and various fish dishes from the North Sea. Highly recommended.
Finally, I was back on my bike; it felt so good.

Today we took a trip to Bremerhaven to see the tall ships.
There was even a three-masted barque from Oman in the harbor.
The journey there took us along good bike paths, through lush greenery, and far from the roads. The sun was shining brightly, a little too brightly.

By train to Cuxhaven and then back to Imsum on the Weser Cycle Path.
Cuxhaven has unfortunately lost its charm during peak season.

The Kirchwalsede hunting association invited us to a "Wild Cycling" tour along the Wümme River. The finale was a game buffet in Unterstedt.
Contrary to the weather forecast – rain and thunderstorms – on the way back to our campsite in Scheeßel, near Bassens Hochladen, even the ☀️ shone.

Vi ville åbne iscafésæsonen i dag, så vi cyklede ad små veje til Mulino i Heiligenrode. Som altid, lækker is og opmærksom betjening - en nydelse 😋. Videre gik turen gennem Kätinger Forst til Dreimädelhaus i Kirchseelte. Her fik vi den næste forfriskning i form af hjemmelavet 🍰 - simpelthen lækkert
