The tour mostly ran on challenging singletrack through nature.
Passed Honecker's former holiday home, which is now a beautiful resort for everyone.
Continued parallel to the highway to Sparow.
The Sparow estate is unfortunately no longer in operation, but is still very well maintained and worth seeing.

This tour can only be recommended with reservations, as the trail is unmarked, especially in the first half, and the paths are very gnarled. There's not much to see of the lake...
Be sure to visit the Sparow estate.

The tour should continue via the Nossentiner Hut and from there for a short stretch on the L 20 before turning right onto a wider forest path towards Altgaaz, signposted.
