Lathkill Dale (and Youlgrave)

Great for a slow-paced wander during Summer! Plenty of wildflowers, butterflies and birdsong. Can get narrow and overgrown in some sections. Good, long, lead walk for dogs, but as it's mostly within a SSSI they (or you!) cannot go in the water.

Route can be done in reverse depending on your ascent preferencs. Plenty of stops for Bilberry picking in Summer!

Lyme Park circular (from Higher Poynton lay-by)

One of a few different routes into and around Lyme Park. Encompassing shop, cafe/picnic area, and National Trust members can access the hall and gardens for free (garden loop not shown here).
Signage is mostly for dogs to be on leads.

Ship Inn pub loop

Road parking near the pub. Nice, easy route, mostly flat with a couple of narrow/overgrown stretches. Dogs on leads for the most part due to cattle in the fields. Lovely waterside spots for a picnic if you don't fancy the pub!
