We had imagined the last stage of our tour to be much easier than it was in the end. There were quite a few challenging sections equipped with ropes or steps. In the morning we took a few more photos at the lake, and then it went uphill quite quickly. After some ups and downs we then started the ascent to decent heights, the cool wind was always with us. My highlight of the day was the group of ibexes that sat not far from our path and watched us with interest. So far I haven't had the luck to see these beautiful animals in the mountains, so I'm absolutely happy.
Only the rain on the descent didn't have to be, it was pretty slippery.

In the morning we were still walking between green meadows and forests, the path led us further and further up until only a stony sea could be seen. There are beautiful rock formations as far as the eye can see up here on the plateau below the Piz Boè and an excellent hut.

A beautiful day in the Dolomites. At the beginning there is a steep climb and then great views. After a refreshment at the Tierser Alpl hut, we went on a fantastic path past cows, horses, sheep, goats and yaks to the Sellajoch. From the Rifugio des Alpes we enjoy the view of the Piz Boé and the Marmolada.

A first short stage for immigrating was just right. The Grasleitenhütte is located in a beautiful basin surrounded by rugged rocks. Very cozy with delicious food and drinks.
