From the Haubuckel through the Schurwald to Schlichten. With so much heat, it's nice to be able to ride in the shade most of the time. Some of the trails are overgrown at the moment. Nettles promote blood circulation :-). The path from Nassachtal up to the starting point could have been a little flatter

Start and finish was the parking lot at the deer pharmacy in Faurndau. Along the Pfuhlbach we went towards Jebenhausen. From there on to Bad Boll and through Eckwälden to the A8, under the viaducts and back again. After Dürnau briefly lost the beaten path and along the meadow back on the path ;-( Varied

Today an unspectacular bike route:
on the old railway line we started in Faurndau to Reitprechts. Then right up a short crisp climb to Rechberg. From here in the direction of Hohenstaufen, over the Aasrücken and then down the road to Maitis. Then it was back to the start on the bike path.

along the old railway line to Schwäbisch Gmünd to Birenbach to the Krettenhof. Then came the "climb" to Hohenstaufen. The effort is rewarded with a great view of the Fils valley. Below the Spielburg we continued to Hohrein, a trail along the Hohenstaufenstrasse, through Oberholz and Bartenbach back to the starting point.

It was pretty warm today. And there was a sunburn on the knees for free :-) Start and finish was the collegiate church in Faurndau. On good cycle paths we went to Jebenhausen, Hattenhofen and Schlierbach. Passing the Sulpacher See (invites you to take a short break) to Ebersbach and along the Fils back to the start.

From Faurndau along the Fils cycle path to Reichenbach. Here a U-turn back to the railway tracks in the direction of Ebersbach. Along the Kirnbachtal (nicely shady but also a steady ascent) to the old forester's lodge in Büchenbronn. Continue to Kreuzeiche, Diegelsberg vantage point, down to Uhingen

Unplanned tour of the Schurwald on field and forest roads and a few trails. In the forest it was nice and shady but the humidity was very high.

First bike tour 2022 on Easter Monday and looking for the condition. ;-) The start was the parking lot at Friedwald in Wangen. From Rechberghauen via Zell, along the Marbachtal, we went to the Rainhold Maier Tower.
Continue on the Kaisersträßle to Oberberken, into the Nassachtal and back up the mountain to Wangen.

The starting point was the Täle hiking car park. The first destination was the Hagerwaldsee. After a short refreshment we went on to Hüttenbühlsee and back to the parking lot. Sawmills are repeatedly passed along the entire route. Nice varied route. Sometimes you have to cross a creek. Finally, the highlight

Tour of Faurndau first along the Fils. Some nice places for a break. The tour initially went on bike paths through Göppingen, then forest and dirt roads to Schlat and in between on very rooty trails.
