Today the section of MT Route 1 between Rosport and Born was on the agenda.

We started from Born with bus line 271 to Steinheim, from there over the pedestrian bridge to Minden and then on the German side via the Matthiasweg or Felsenweg to Ralingen.

Mini after-work walk to the orchids on the rock path.

The goat's-bellied tongue and orchid are in full bloom.

With this hike I have connected the two Nittel orchid areas «Am Felsenweg» and «Langheck» to create a beautiful circular walk.

The flowering beauties can be admired on a stretch of about 6 km between May and June.

At the moment the ram's-tail orchid and the bumblebee orchid are in full bloom.

Today the hike went to the unique Perfeist nature reserve.

This beautiful orchid paradise and butterfly paradise is located on the plateau of the Löschemer Berg near Wasserliesch and can be explored on a small but lovely circular hike.

And we continue with the exploration of MT Route 3. Today, with the best hiking weather, the section between Grevenhaff and Larochette was on the agenda.

From Larochette, I took bus 232 to Haller and from there I joined the local hiking trails W1 and W4 and later B7 as an access route to MT Trail Route

Today, in the best hiking weather, we continued our MT Trail exploration in two ways. 😉

Firstly, hiking the section of the trail between Reuland and Larochette and secondly, admiring the flowering devil's claws along the trail.

From here first via the W8 and then via the W7 to the MT Trail Route 3, whose route I then followed for

Two sections of Route 3 were on the agenda. Firstly, the section from the Chateau to the junction of the B7 on the CR356 and secondly, the fantastically beautiful passage along the Haller and Haupechbaach.



I connected these two sections

I took advantage of my free Friday afternoon and went on a lovely hike from Kanzem to Saarburg.

The weather was good, and from Biebelhausen to the end of the hike the sun even came out.
