Ouch - adapted for a 60mile PB, paced the first half right Z2/3, but 2nd half was Z3/4 on purpose, but this turned out to be a bit much. Pleased but aching, now for bacon 🥓 and egg 🍳.

Garmin Tech

Found an Edge Explore 2 with £50 off on Amazon last week. Good addition compared to the phone in a crossbar bag I've been using previously. Really helped attempt the cross hill climb up from the canal on roads I've never been on previously.

Managed an early start (4:30) and paced this better. Extended the loop over to the centre of Worksop and into Clumber Park. Good route, lot of gravel. Will add a lap of Clumber Park lake in next time. First 50+ mile ride 🏆

Arkwright Town Loop

Like this loop it's all hill climb from the canal. I use the pavement on the Chesterfield Road Hill climb to Calow. It's not worth getting run over by someone who's late for work, tho your close to the hospital 😂.

The Passage South

Builds on a route I did a couple of weeks ago. Easier way to link the Trans Pennine Trail with the Five Pits Trail. Less gravel, quieter road though. Hill up to Sutton Scarsdale will never be enjoyable, but it's manageable.
