After skipping Irapetra by taxi, we managed to find a pretty nice tour. The more you get away from the coast and the greenhouses and into the mountains, the more beautiful it gets. This route cannot be found on Komoot. According to Komoot you have to go up over 1000 m and then down again. You have to circumnavigate the Kofinas north. But a fairly well developed and also quite well signposted path was created. A visit to the monastery is absolutely worthwhile. It is the most beautiful

Today was day 12 of our Kissamos - Sitia on the south coast tour. At the beginning a very nice tour. Later a lot of roads, but not unpleasant because there is little traffic. Sometimes we walked on the beach, which is very exhausting.
