A beautiful, family-friendly hiking tour. The paths are very well prepared everywhere. Exactly the way I do NOT like it. But since we were traveling with our children - the youngest is 3 - it was of course a blessing.

The city offers a few sights, but is mainly worth a visit for the pretty wooden houses and the jetty.
Numerous tours in the fjord start from there. A tourist information center at the harbor offers a selection of e.g. boat tours. Here you can also rent bicycles / eBikes or get hiking tour tips in and around Balestrand.
