Area in the rain - also has its charm. But: How the hell do you get to do this tour from south to north? At 4 Bft for hours against each other - drag, miserable.
We liked the hotel "Maschinenhaus" in Groß Neuendorf directly on the way (see photo).

Varied section. But leads over long distances over the dike crowns of Neisse and Oder. And there you are without a wind cover. When it blows from the front, it gets tedious - at least when you're on the go with the cereal bike. It would therefore be worth considering whether you really want to do this

Excellent cycle paths. Root breaks beginning in forests, however. And in the interest of paved paths, smaller detours are sometimes made. At least protects material and coccyx 😉

Terrible stage. Not do!
The path leads through a boring agricultural desert with very little trees and long climbs. On the ridges you are then exposed to the winds without protection. Grace to a god if you have the wind from the wrong side. And then the ways! If you are lucky that the route leads on long

From Ortenberg to Geldern on the Vulkanradweg. Very nice stage with moderate slope through beautiful scenery. From Gedern with much more slope and without bike path on the B275 - very long 7 km.

Last stage. Conclusion: If you like high mountains and deep gorges, you will probably not get your money's worth on this bike path. It's flat land. The others cycle here on well to very well developed paths through a nuanced, natural and sparsely populated river landscape. So it can be a nice tour
