Wolseley and Wellington Loop
An easy hike along the South and North sides of a section of the Assiniboine River in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Beautiful views of Assiniboine park, the old surrounding neighborhoods and some small green spaces in between.
Walking westward, the breeze was very cold but towards the East the temperatures were fantastic!

Taipiti Ridge – Baruch's Corner loop from Bragg Creek
Hike was awesome. Trail is well kept and well used by cyclists, cow herds and cowboys. Watch out for cyclists without a bell!
We chose this hike to keep away from the 40 km /hr wind gusts and it did just that!

Signal Hill/Ridge to Rockland Park and return

Signal Hill to Bow River East and return
On return trip had to detour back to South side of the river because of construction on the North side. Otherwise, pathway was open, mostly separate from pedestrians with challenging hills at Signal Hill.

The entire trail is not well maintained and slightly overgrown, making it difficult to follow the trail in some sections. Up to early summer, wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt and hat if you can bear it. The bugs are plentiful and they love a hiker standing around, resting or admiring the scenery

The access route is a well groomed but slightly steep downhill walk. Stairs are available along steeper sections. The viewpoint at the bottom of the falls is slightly wet with a refreshing, cool mist off the falls! Enjoy. 😊
